Peppers are botanically a fruit, but in the culinary world, they're recognized as a vegetable. 2,000 varieties of peppers are cultivated worldwide and are commonly grouped into two categories: and sweet peppers. Hot peppers can be picked at any stage, but are hottest when fully ripe. They ripen into yellow, orange, purple, red and even brown.

The goal of universal service is to provide all Mississippi citizens access to essential telecommunications services. Voice telephone service is provided at rates which start at $20.00 per month for residential customers and $25.00 per month for business line customers. Broadband Internet access service is provided at rates which start at $28.39 per month for residential customers and $44.99 per month for business customers. Franklin Telephone Company, Inc. would be pleased to provide you with specific rates for voice and broadband for your area upon request. Use of these services may result in added charges including taxes, surcharges, and fees.

In addition, Franklin Telephone Company, Inc. provides one copy of its annual local directory free without charge. Touchtone service is available at no additional charge. Franklin Telephone Company, Inc. also offers qualified customers Lifeline service.

Lifeline is a nontransferable, federal benefit that makes monthly voice or broadband service more affordable. The program is limited to one discount per household. Eligible households may apply the monthly Lifeline discount to either broadband service (home or wireless) or voice service (home or wireless) but not both. Lifeline customers also have the option to apply the discount to a service bundle, such as home phone and home internet. The Lifeline voice service also includes toll blocking to qualifying customers without charge.

The current discount provided under the Lifeline service is $9.25 per month for each month that the customer qualifies. A household is eligible for the Lifeline discount if the annual household income is at or below of the federal poverty guidelines. You may also qualify for the Lifeline program if a customer, a dependent, or the household participates in one or more of the following programs: Medicaid, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Supplemental Security Income, Federal Public Housing Assistance (Section 8), or Veterans and Survivors Pension Benefit. Other terms and conditions apply. For example, customers must apply for Lifeline and provide proof of eligibility before receiving the Lifeline Assistance Credit.

Customers must also recertify their continued eligibility every year. Additionally, as long as a qualified individual agrees to toll blocking, that individual is not required to pay a deposit prior to our service being offered. Publish 07-10-2019 From Press Reports The raising of the 12- tory Cross of Christ will occur anywhere between 9:30 a.m.-1 p.m. (approximate time) Thursday, July 11, at the cross site.

The Raising of the Cross will occur on Thursday but the exact time that morning cannot be stated because of construction estimate progression. A ceremony will begin at noon. Prayer, singing of the hymn Great Thou and the presentation of the American flag by a oodmen of the World representative will occur for a 10-minute service. After the brief service and the cross is raised, free barbecue sandwiches and watermelon will be available for all attending in celebrating our Lord and his wonderful provisions and love, mercy and grace in giving our area Choctaw, Webster a nd surrounding counties the memorial 12- story cross. When the cross is viewed, may Christians be reminded of the redeeming blood of Jesus Christ and unbe- lievers be drawn to the cross by the Holy Spirit for hope and belief in Jesus.

More finishing construction will be done on the cross after this ate but the highlight of the cross construction is the raising. Roadside cross raising ceremony Thursday Joseph Robert Fiebig July 6, 2019 Services for Joseph Robert Fiebig, 89, were July 9, 2019, at Coleman Funeral Home in Ackerman with the Rev. Jerry Lawson officiating.

Burial followed at Enon Cemetery in Ackerman. He was born Sept. 4, 1929, in Kansas City, to the late John Edward and Laura Elinor Branski Fiebig. He retired from the U.S. Air Force and later retired as fire chief for both Golden Triangle Airport in Columbus and the Ackerman Fire Department.

Mr. Fiebig died July 6, 2019, at his residence in Ackerman. Survivors include his wife, Margie; four sons, Bobby Fiebig of Mathiston, Ed Fiebig of Ackerman, Jerry Fiebig of Hamilton and Chris Fiebig of Baraboo, two daughters, Elin Snow of West Point and Joyce Peninger of Columbus; a sister, Delores Prettyman of Topeka, Kansas; 18 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Enon Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Bobby L.

Kelly Bobby L. Kelly was born February 14, 1954 in Louisville, MS to the late Nathaniel and Betty Kelly-Lowrey. He enjoyed the outdoors and grew up hunting, fishing, and doing construction work. He devoted his life to Christ at an early age and united with Union Chapel M.B. Church of Louisville, MS and later joined White Rock M.B.

Church of Jackson, MS. He departed this life on June 24, 2019 at Oktibbeha County Hospital-Starkville, MS. Mr. Kelly leaves 4 daughters: Kimberly Kelly, Shataskia Washington, Bobnitra Kelly, and Kelly and 1-son, Delvin Cooper; 3-sisters: Wanda Sangster, Barbara Brown and Beverly Rodgers; 3brothers: Emmitt Kelly, Terry Kelly, and Jerry Kelly, and 7 grandchildren along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
